Cheap Portable HDTV

If you are looking for a cheap portable HDTV there are many options for you. Before you go to purchase its always a good idea to shop around on the internet just to get an idea of the price.

At radioshack (radioshack, com) the prices range from $130 to $200. The price you pay depends on the size, features, and brand of the television you are looking to purchase. The sizes for these start at 7 inches and grow up to inches, measured diagonally, of course.

At Best Buy (bestbuy.com) there is really only one option. The Dynex 7" portable LCD HDTV. The price for this on is about $150. Though some of you may not have really heard of Dynex brand, I have personal experience with their televisions and have nothing but great things to say about it. I have a 37" LCD TV from them. It is not top of the line but is on of the best values for the price. Definitely a worthy television.

So if you are looking for a cheap portable hdtv, be sure to do your home work first.

Portable HDTV

The portable HDTV is one of the newest crazes to sweep the nation. This allows you to watch shows at a 480 x 234 resolution at a 16:9 widescreen ratio as regualer hdtvs do.

The first portable hdtv to be released was the Best Buy Insignia brand. This was released in 2007 and still turns out high sales numbers. Although now there is more competition as other brands have released their own models to compete with Insignia.

These have become a necessity on long road trips for families with children. This is a way to keep your children entertained for hours without having to hear the constnt question, "are we there yet?" Imagine your kids sitting back watching movies or playing video games on this.

These come with a 12v cigarette lighter plug for constant power and even an ac adapter for when you reach your final destination.

To pick up channels while you are on the road all you have to do it find the right spot for the antenna which can normally pick up stations within 10 miles of your current location and in some cases can reach up to about 20 miles.

So if you are in the market for a way to keep up with your shows while on the road, look into a portable HDTV.
